Her story
She is a woman whose name we do not yet know. In December 1991, hunters found her remains in the woods near Stewart Point Road in Bear Creek.
Her cause of death was never determined, but the Sheriff's Office treats her death as a homicide. The case was reopened around 2020, and in August 2025 the Sheriff's Office released a new facial reconstruction in the hope that someone will recognize her.
Someone, somewhere, may recognize her. If any detail below sounds familiar, please contact investigators.
